Clubs held in school

For Adults and Children

These clubs run in term time only, unless specified. Please contact Mrs Steel on extserv@bowerham.lancs.sch.uk for leader’s emails.

Lancaster 5th Beavers, Cubs and Scouts use the school field each week – Lancaster Groups (lonsdalescouts.org.uk) for more information

Monday

Super Ball Paul

SPORTS HALL – 3.15pm – 4.15pm – Years 1,2,and 3

From January 2025 – Reception children can also apply.

Superball will be running in the Sports Hall from Monday 22nd April 2024. The last session will be the 8th July 2024. Please note that the club will not run on the 29.04.24. The cost will be £40.70 per child and there are 18 spaces. Please book via Parentpay. Please collect your child from the Sport’s Hall. Passwords will be in operation. If your child is attending After school club – they will be escorted to and from the club. Please advise Suzannah .

Karate

Adult, Teenager and child Karate Class

Women’s Institute

Every third Monday – OLD HALL – 7.30pm – 9.15pm

Adult Train 4U

Using the SPORTS HALL from 6pm – 7pm. This club runs out of term time too.

Wednesday

Lancaster History Society

Every first Wednesday – OLD HALL- 7.30pm – 9.30/10pm

Thursday

Adult Train 4U- Using the OLD HALL from 5.45pm – 6.45pm

Karate

Adult, Teenager and child Karate Class

Dog Training Classes

Using the Sports Hall 6pm – late.

Friday

Judo

Level 1 will be followed by Level 2 classes.

These sessions run in the Autumn term, on a Friday from 3.15pm – 4.15pm in the Sport’s Hall.

Fencing Classes – Level 1

These sessions run in the spring term. Currently, the classes are running on a Friday from 3.15pm – 4.15pm on the Sports Hall. The club will run until the 22nd March 2024.

Archery Club

These sessions run in the summer term. The classes will run on a Friday from 3.15pm – 4.15pm on the Sports Hall. The club will start on the 19.04.24 and run until the 17th May 2024.

Sunday

Trinity Church meetings at 10.30am – Old Hall – all welcome. Entrance through the main reception/ entrance glass doors.

Bowerham Juniors Football Club

If you would like your child to take part in these clubs: please pay via Parentapp and fill in your contact number; any medical issues and a chosen password for pick up.

Additional Parent /Family Learning Courses

Lego Family Learning – Sports Hall – 17.04.24 – 9.30am – 11am

This additional course for Reception, Year 1 and 2 has been booked due to over subscription on the 6th March 2024.

Parent Only Course

Do you fancy certian family learning clubs that are not being currently offered? Want to influence decision making on which clubs should run? Then join us on the 24.04.24 at 9.30am – 11am in the Sport’s Hall.
