Bowerham Primary and Nursery School believes in providing equal opportunities for all pupils through the provision of an inspiring education to enable all children to achieve their potential.

All governors, staff and parents at Bowerham Primary and Nursery School are committed to meeting all the needs of our pupils, including those with additional and extra needs, thus ensuring that all our pupils achieve the best possible educational and other outcomes. It is the aim of the school to develop the academic potential of each child: and to cater for the social, moral, physical and spiritual requirements of the individual in a happy and secure learning environment.

Break Time provides a range of short break activities for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities living in Lancashire.

In order to access these activities during 2023/24, parents and carers must complete a registration form before 28th February 2023. If parents need any help competing the form, staff are able to do this with or on behalf of the parent, with their permission.

Parents and carers of children who are Break Time members for the current year (2022/23) must also complete the form in order to remain members in 2023/24.

The online form is available here: https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/special-educational-needs-and-disabilities/things-to-do/break-time/
