Individual Learning Plans (ILP)

Our ILPs outline interventions that are in place to support individual children across all areas of need, such as (but not limited to) speech and language, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, communication and interaction as well as the different curriculum areas.

Our ILPs allow us to share targets with parents as well as track progress. Below is an example, with detailed description of the different elements of an ILP.

Parent consultations

Meetings to discuss children ILP’s are scheduled three times each year. These meetings are aligned with the normal cycle of parent  consultations that take place in September and February. For children with an ILP, there is an additional SEN drop in  that takes place in June.
